Main duties

• Develop Web site architecture and determine hardware and software requirements
• Implement design mock-ups using HTML, CSS/SCSS, Bootstrap and JavaScript, RESTful API’s Browser API
• Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Web site
• Create and optimize content for the Web site using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software
• Plan, design, write, modify, integrate and test Web site related code
• Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
• Assist product manager with requirements estimation and product features
  Employment Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree, usually in computer science, communications or business or completion of a college program in computer science, graphic arts, Web design or business is required
• Experience as a computer programmer or graphic designer is usually required
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
• Understanding of modern web standards and best practices
• Able to work collaboratively and independently
• Must be able to handle changing requirements
• Deep knowledge of developing and testing for multiple browsers and platforms
• Understand Git version control
• Nice to have: fintech, financial/marketplace application experience

As a Adsy Android Developer you will:

• Be responsible for the delivery of multiple Android Applications from end-to-end
• Build high-quality systems using software implementation best practices
• Design and optimize the performance of software applications
• Work with JIRA to ensure projects get done on time and to scope
• Work closely with the CEO, Project Managers, other developers, and key clients
• Collect business requirements from the client and translate them into software requirements (project scoping)
• Collaborate with project managers to help them with project budgets, schedules, and periodic reports
• Be able to learn new concepts and software quickly on the job

This opportunity is for you if you have:

• Completed a BachContinueelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area (preferred)
• Experience with Photo and video editing
• Experience with FFmpeg, video transition, trimming and filters
• Experience with Android Development using APIs
• Experience with Android Development using Local Storage and on-device applications
• Experience with Android Development using Animations and Rich User Experiences
• Understanding the theory of 2D and 3D object rendering (nice to have)
• Good understanding of relational databases
• An understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), computer science foundations and Design Patterns
• Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA).
